Sarah Eastwood - vocals, keys
Sarah is the jewel in the Definitely 90s crown. An award winning singer and actress who has appeared in over 50 film and TV roles. Sarah is an experienced vocalist who performs in a variety of acts, usually multiple times every week. She is an all singing, dancing, acting ball of energy and loves nothing more than to connect and engage with the audience and get them singing and dancing along!
Did you know? Sarah often incorporates multiple outfit changes during a Definitely 90’s gig (all done backstage of course!). See if you notice next time!
Wayne Hunt - guitar, backing vocals
Having been playing the guitar since most of the songs he now covers were new releases, Wayne’s knowledge of 90s music goes way beyond the point of obsessive! He likes to take great care when crafting the tone and style of the Definitely 90’s setlist. He is usually never far away from the microphone to share an anecdote or two, and his love for guitars, music and bucket hats is a joy to behold.
Did you know? Wayne is naturally left-handed but plays the guitar right-handed. He also designed and built this very website!
Marcin Kalinowski - bass
Marcin has been called many things by us in the past. The “Beast From The East”, our “Secret Weapon” or “Silent Assassin”. Whatever nickname you want to give him goes alongside the fact he is an extremely talented bass player who can also play the drums and the guitar! He is the level-headed, calm influence that the rest of the band could not survive without.
Did you know? Marcin also looks after the sound at our gigs and his mixing desk is never usually more than a few feet away from him. Yes he’s that good that he can play bass and do the bands sound at the same time!
Chris Braitch - drums
Despite getting into playing the drums relatively later in life, Chris’s dedication to his craft has taken him to being one of the most accomplished drummers around town. He has a metronome-like right foot (a producers words) that creates a steady heartbeat of the songs. Never one to turn down the chance of a good drum fill, his energy on stage is infectious and really pushes the music to a level that everyone can get behind.
Did you know? Away from music Chris also has a passion for surfing and has surfed in numerous glamorous locations around the world including Australia’s Gold Coast.
